Introduction to Flower Arranging Workshop

While we put together a basket of  summer flowers  to brighten your table  we will touch upon some basic principles and elements of design, along with mechanics, that   will help you create a  pleasing flower arrangement every time.

Cost of workshop $35 (hands on, registration required)

$10 (observation, no registration needed, pay at the entrance)

From the workshop leader Margo Yie:

I have been intrigued by flowers since  childhood. My grandmother introduced me to  magical, magenta four o’clocks which became the first flowers I grew.

This interest in flowers led me to  Master Gardening classes at the Massachusetts Horticultural Society and arranging classes at Cass The Florist and the Garden Club Federation of Massachusetts.

I am past president of the Wellesley Gardeners’ Guild,  and currently a member of Beth Shalom Garden Club and a Floral Designer Associate at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
