2026 Executive Committee

Te-Hui Wu Chou 吳德惠
Te-hui Chou was from Taiwan and earned her B.S. degree from Tunghai University, followed by a Ph.D. from Clark University. Her career began as a researcher and professor at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, where she specialized in DNA repair and vaccine development. Later, she joined the quality control at Genzyme and research team of the Sanofi North America Breakthrough Lab, working on developing cancer drugs and vaccines.
In 2021, she was honored to speak on “Coronavirus, COVID Vaccines, and Treatment” at the GBCCA Life Enrichment (Yunhe Club). Her volunteer work includes services at the Westborough Chinese Language School and contributing to cultural events such as Lunar New Year celebrations, cultural festivals in Wayland, and organizing film screening “Sight” in Wayland. Since retiring, she’s also been volunteering at the Wayland Center of Aging.
She is a member of the Chinese Gospel Church of Massachusetts and participates in International Bible Study Fellowship, where she enjoys teaching students of all ages.
來自台灣台北，畢業於東海大學，赴美後取得麻州克拉克大學博士學位。先在麻州大學醫學院研
究事基因修復及HIV 等疫苗的研發。後任職於Genzyme品管，及Sanofi NA Breakthrough Lab 從事癌症药物及多種疫苗研發。
在2021年受邀在雲鹤社講演”從冠狀病毒談新冠疫苗及治療”。多次義務參與蔚藍鎮農曆新年，文化節活動及籌劃Sight電影放映觀賞。退休後，積極參與蔚藍鎮耆英中心(COA)的志願工作。
我一生信仰基督，目前在南堡麻省華人福堂聚會服事，並參加國際研讀聖經團契教導不同學齡學生。

Jynan Chang 薩芝楠
Jynan Chang, originally from Taipei, Taiwan, graduated from National Chengchi University with a BA degree in History. In 1976, I came to the United States and switched my studies to accounting and computers, later earning an MBA degree from Anna Maria College, MA.
In 1987, I moved to Westborough, Massachusetts, and worked at Worcester Polytechnic Institute as a Restricted Fund Accounting Manager in the accounting department. In 2002, I relocated to Miami to focus on family business, assisting with the integration of client list,
inventory control, accounting and the human resources system. I retired in 2019 and moved back to Boston to enjoy time with my children and grandchildren.
I volunteered as a financial committee member at the New England Chinese Youth Summer Camp (NECYSC) in 1995 and 1996. I am currently a member of the Southborough Chinese Gospel Church of Massachusetts.
我來自台灣台北, 畢業於政治大學歷史系, 1976 年來美改唸會記及電腦, 後在麻州Anna Maria
College取得MBA。
1987年搬到麻州西堡, 就職於烏斯特理工大學, 在會計處擔任Restricted Fund Accounting Manager。於2002年隨夫家搬至邁阿密, 發展家庭事業, 協助公司整合客戶名單, 存貨 控制, 會計出納及人事系統。於2019年退休, 搬回波士頓, 與兒孫享受同堂之樂。
我曾於1995,1996 年在紐英倫青少年夏令營做義工, 擔任財務委員, 現為南堡華人福音堂的會員。
Yu-Huai Wu 吳宇懷
Yu-Huai Wu came from Taiwan originally and has lived in Massachusetts for over 30 years. I am currently working for Skyworks Solutions as a full-time employee and travel abroad
occasionally. I have two children; one is in college and the other one is a junior in high school. My husband works as an engineer in a nearby research institution.
Both my children attended Lexington Chinese School where I served as teacher, PTA, and academic director as a volunteer for seven years and I am currently a reserved volunteer. Additionally, my son and I deliver food to the local food bank through a food link organization on weekends. This year I serve as National Cheng Chi University Boston Alumni director.
我是吳宇懷，來自台灣。大學畢業後出國到現在一直居住在麻州， 對於麻州的歷史以及人文印
象良好，所以決定在此安家立業。目前有兩個孩子一個就讀大學，另外一個還在高中，先生在附近的研究機構工作，我自己也在麻州的半導體公司工作。
由於自己的孩子在中文學校就讀，所以我也在中文學校服務了七年，現在是他們的儲備義工，繼
續為這個多年的社團服務. 週末時我和兒子固定會去收集食物給附近的食物銀行。今年我有幸成
為波士頓政大校友會會長, 未來還有很多功課要學習。
Chung-Lin Hsu (a/k/a Elaine) 徐宗玲
Chung-Lin Hsu, from Taipei, Taiwan, majored in Foreign Languages and Literature at National Taiwan University and earned a Master’s degree in Computer Science at Boston University. She worked at Digital, Sun Microsystems, and Oracle as a software engineer and program manager before retiring in 2023.
Aside from work, Chung-Lin taught Mandarin at the Chinese Language School on Sundays for many years and served as the principal in 2009-2010. She enjoys singing and was the 2025 president of GBCCA Choral Society (GCS).
我來自台灣臺北，台大外文系學士，波士頓大學電腦碩士，先後在Digital, Sun Microsystems, Oracle 擔任軟體工程師和 program manager。2023 年退休。
除工作外，曾從事中文教學多年，並擔任中華語文學校 2009-2010 校長。喜歡唱歌，曾任文協
合唱團 2025年團長。
January Checkovich 陳韻潔
January Checkovich was born and grew up in Taipei, Taiwan. She spent her high school years in Bangkok, Thailand. She moved to New York City in the 1980s where she worked in the garment industry. After she got married, she settled in the Boston area and worked in investment banking. After having three daughters, she transitioned into real estate, allowing her more flexibility to spend time with her children as they grew. Now that they have grown
up, she finds herself an empty nester and is enjoying traveling, exploring new places, and indulging in culinary delights.
陳韻潔生長於台灣台北，曾於青春年華時應父親工作原因，旅居泰國曼谷。八〇年代在美國紐約的成衣業發展，婚後定居波士頓地區，並曾任職於投資銀行。育有三女後，轉而投入房地 產相關工作，也因此擁有多些自由時間陪伴孩子 们成長。時光荏苒，孩子們已獨立，她也成為了空巢族。閒暇之餘，熱愛旅行探索，品味美食，享受生活的點滴樂趣。

Leslie Lee 李翠蘭
Leslie is a recently retired financial services manager with almost 25 years of industry experience, including serving as Vice President in the Global Delivery Division at State Street Bank. She holds master’s degrees in Political Science and Business Administration.
With more than a decade of service to the Chinese American community, Leslie has led educational and cultural initiatives as a teacher, curriculum director, and principal at the Central Mass Chinese Language School and as camp director at the Chinese Family Camp. She also collaborated with local ethnic communities to organize Worcester City’s Asian Festival for 2 years. A former GBCCA Executive Committee member of 2010, she will strive for strengthening community engagement, connecting generations, and expanding GBCCA’s impact through collaboration, inclusivity, and sustainable growth.
翠蘭是一位剛退休的金融業主管，曾在 State Street Bank 擔任副總裁, 並持有政治學與企業管理碩士學位。
翠蘭投入華人社區服務多年，曾在麻州中文學校服務超過 10年，擔任過老師、課程主任與校長，也曾擔任華人家庭營的營長。她過去曾參與 GBCCA 執行委員會的工作，也連續兩年協助伍斯特市亞洲文化節。她希望未來能和大家一起，讓 GBCCA 成為一個更有凝聚力、能連結不同世代，並持續為華人社區發聲與服務的平台。
