The 2018 GBCCA Annual Banquet

Dear GBCCA Members,

The 2018 GBCCA Annual Banquet is to be held on Saturday February 10, 2018. It will be at Framingham
Sheraton Hotel and from 5:30 pm to 11 pm. This is the most important yearly event of our organization
when we will report to you the events and progress of GBCCA, to vote for our new officers for 2018 and
2019, to meet your friends, to enjoy various performance of our activity groups/clubs, and, of course to
enjoy good food and exciting entertainments.

This event is about every one of you, and needs a team coordination for planning, coordinating, and
problem-solving on the day. I am therefore asking you to participate in the Banquet Committee and
volunteer yourselves to the following tasks:

Committee Chair—to call and coordinate committee meetings for planning.

Program Committee—to build and ensure a dynamic program that can be run smoothly; recruit Emcee
(s) and Keynote Speaker; compose and print program books.

Fund Raising Committee—to sell tickets and arrange tables/sittings for the banquet; solicit and prepare
raffle ticket awards; to manage the banquet budget and finance.

Event Committee—to coordinate with the hotel Event Manager, Staffs, and DJ for site management. To
ensure an orderly transition of GBCCA Executive Committees.

Entertainment Committee—to recruit performer (s) for a colorful entertainment.

Additional committee—deem needed by the Committee Chair (?)

*2017 and 2018 GBCCA EC members shall participate in committees and help to execute the event
program in a flawless manner.
