October 22 Beijing Opera Lecture
The Boston Beijing Opera Association will bring you a unique Beijing Opera lecture on Saturday, October 22nd. This lecture not only summarizes the history and characteristics of Beijing Opera, but also introduces the knowledge of Beijing Opera, basic skills, dramatic makeup, stage performance, and musical instrument accompaniment. The genre of Beijing Opera will also be a key topic to introduce, and not only will there be explanations, but also selected excerpts from the representative repertoire of the Boston Beijing Opera Association will be sung live, bringing you a lively Beijing Opera experience.
